Dartmoor National Park is right on your doorstep from Pickwick Cottage. The National Park Authority is a good place to start when planning your trip, or there are a multitude of Dartmoor enthusiasts offering their own walking tips.
Also within easy reach are attractions as varied as Exeter Cathedral and The Eden Project, and closer to home there is a whole range of things to do in the South Zeal area. These include the National Trust property Finch Foundry and the 15th Century Church House, both within walking distance.
